Sometimes....

ya gotta laugh
...so you don't cry.

...We are putting on our hurricane shoes again...
But, sending good wishes...and dry shoes... to those who felt (feel) the wrath of Gustav!

Those are great, Linda. Gosh, y'all have been hit hard this summer. Tell Hanna to head north!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the storms headed Florida's way don't have too much of an impact. You've all had more than enough adventure this year.

My aunt and uncle live in Florida, and I suspect they've got a book in them if they ever want to write down their hurricane experiences.

Those Hurricane shoes are Hilarious?.....Hope you won't be wearing those anytime soon. Gustav lost his gusto thank goodness and now we are waiting to see what Hanna and Ivan and then Joseph will do!

Stay safe and do you know where I can get the orange pair?

Best Regards,
MIMILEE<><

Yep those High heeled flippers are a hoot...apparently they are made in Belgium (a friend sent me the pic...she got it from flickr).

Yes a few storms lining up...but you never know WHERE they will go...best to be prepared, and why not be chic too, I say...crocs to the 10th power!

Carmi....I have no doubt that your aunt and uncle could write a book. I have only been here 10 years....and could be working on one too!

Hey, THANKS all...for your comments and well wishes....I send them out to everyone in the Hurricane cones (the well wishes, not the comments...that would be messy)

Taking off my hurricane shoes and plopping into bed...no Fifi...I don't own them, just the ordinary croc variety....and they don't work so well cause they get REALLY slippery when your feet are wet)

Hi Linda,
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog! Very kind of you, and thank you for the sweet comment. It made my day.

Those shoes are a kick. You certainly are keeping a sense of humor about things! I hope things calm down soon.

Hey Linda, it's so nice catching up with you! Those shoes are such a hoot.

My parents live north of West Palm Beach and they got lots of water too. I'll have to introduce those shoes to my mom - I know she'll get a kick out of them.
