It was too beautiful not to work outside today…
So…That is exactly what I did
a little upholstery job…outside
In the ‘jungle’
two wonky stools….years and years of wear
Now wear a new attire of zebra cotton/linen…
I love it because it is a brown bleeding into black…
Jungle Zebra’s…who knew
Actually…they will reside in the Casita…

I love your place. The chairs look great. Do you do something to keep them clean? Your yard survived the freeze very well.
Karen...No, we really lost SO much! The whole front yard was decimated. Sad. The chairs do not stay outside...just reupholstered them out there!
Al and Sally....thanks...hard to beat beautiful weather...tho I know it'll be turning merciliously hot REAL soon!
Hey Zebra Girl,
Coming from a place where we live in igloos six months a year, it seems so foreign to do such a project outside. If I were to drag that stuff outside to cover a chair plein air, a blizzard would surely ensue!

A zebra for your mom's house :)...too cute! She has such a great place.
But I DO LOVE your presentation of the zebra in the jungle.
Perfection Linda...! You are my new upholsterer Guru.
If there is such a thing!

I LOVE your jungle! Those FL tropicals can't be beat!
How did you get it so lush so fast after winter?
Love you little chair re-do!
Thanks for the tip of moving my hydrangeas!
Happy sunshine Girlie!

I love the zebra look. when ever I visit your blog, it is like a mini vacation. Wishing we were not getting more snow as I type this.
Hello!!! Right up "MY" street :-) Oh my goodness Linda your garden looks AMAZING! I think my banana trees died.....I've fertilized and am watering them like crazy! your livingroom looks so restful......x
Love the zebra chair. Looks beautiful in your garden. xo
the chair looks great with the beloved zebra.
come check out my post today.
i posted it and thought of YOU!!
Love the zebra print...it is perfect for the chairs...and again, I must say your grounds are what I would call "very old Florida". Meaning, the way Florida should be and once was, lush, tropical, beautiful and a place to escape and enjoy nature at its best...just love looking at photographs of your home and grounds...

oooooh i likey! Hello friend! catching up with your blog, always one of my faves. I'm not much for animal prints but I do like this one. Maybe it is because I happened to find some zebras while driving up the coast. I had to share this link with you thought you would get a hoot! http://sealaura.blogspot.com/2010/06/wildlife-wednesday-on-coast.html
Hope your weekend was lovely on the Hacienda, the vanilla wafers send their love!
LOVE!!!! now.. come and visit and tell me what cha think about the black awnings....
Looks great! I love the casita. I think I need one of those!
Can...not...wait...to work outside! This photos were so inspiring and I love the new zebra on the bar stool!
Can't get enough of your jungle. I'm inspired to create something like it in my area, something that can be moved inside once cold weather comes. I've been trying to convince my husband that we need to relocate to a tropical climate. No luck. So I'll have to make my version of it.
Thanks and please continue posting such wonderful eye candy!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm so jealous it's not even funny. we just had a 4 day snow storm to kick off spring. gross.
been doing lots of garden work here also! love the brown to black zebra reupholstry and of course, your tropical home!
the zebra reminded me of the "chicos" ad zebra, painted in bright colors, smiles!
Love it! Your "jungle" is beautiful! Glad that our harsh winter did not destroy everything...
I love the shading on the zebra fabric...
