Jumping weather…

The wind was whistling…

the temp was close to 100

what else to do but jump some bushes and walls

right? said child number 4...who happens to fear nothing and is preparing for a three day eventing show.

At a stunning barn here in Vero Beach

Sawgrass farms

where the horses are happy….ish I threw in the ish cause nessie aint looking so happy

You can literally eat off the beautiful brick floors

…if you so choose

A chatting room in the barn for discussing your course

evah so comfy!

A wash rack as good as any outdoor shower….yes please.

The money shot…yep.sg1

What did you do while the wind was whistling?

Hoping you held onto your hats and stayed safe from Irene!

We're dealing with the same high temps and no moisture (I think Irene sucked it all out!) Heading to the soccer fields to watch my son coach his team. (Love when the kids grow up and give back!) He's working with a U17 premier league girls' team. It's a hoot to watch the girls with Drew...that handsome (and married) devil...

What a gorgeous horse barn. I'll bet you feel so blue blood walking through there! Well, we missed the hurricane this time here in Texas. Hope everyone in it's path is safe.

Few places I love more than a horse-filled barn. Especially a Ralph Lauren one like this.

I wish there was a way to put WOW in a 72-point font in the comments! I was thinking "you could eat off those floors!" and then scrolled down and saw that you had the same thought. I am so insanely jealous of that place. Wow, wow, wow. Good luck to your daughter, I hope she does fantastic! :D

hola, love the caballos! and that money shot sure was pretty. Here on the west coast, we have a teeny earthquake but we have those all the time, so no biggy and then B the wafers and I went on a walk to Fisherman's wharf on sunday. pretty peaceful here, hope everyone on the east is ok.

wow, beautiful upscale horse farm there!

we had dinner beachside on friday night, laughing at all the news trucks trying to make a story, while teens exhausted themselves doing headstands on skimboards for attention. never did catch news to see if they made their 15 seconds of fame!!! the rest of weekend was spent in water, at flagler beach and at silver glen springs.

your daughter is a beauty btw!!!

Ahhh a girl and her horse! Legends have been written...

While the wind was blowing we had birthday parties for two grandchildren...nothing gets in the way of a birthday. We just call 'em Hurricane Parties!

Wowsers.....those horses live better than some people! Love that barn.....good thoughts for your daughter on her event!

Nothing happened here in GA....I was in the mountains of NC during Irene.

What a gorgeous, gorgeous barn, and child 4 looks fabulous. Makes me miss my days with horses....
We jumped over waves here - 12 footers. The surf has been insane. I am still too sick to do much, but I watched from my chair, snuggled into a blanket as my boys braved the surf, showed off, and showed some healthy fear. Crazy, crazy, scary waves.
Happy coming of Autumn dear one!
