Grab a good pair of sunglasses....a tiny bag
that just fits a bathing suit
and nothing more....
Cliff top swimming pools of incredible blues, that play off
the changing colors of the pacific....
Wind down the palapa stairs, where we find ourselves on the Mexican Riviera...
Sensual, Humid, extravagant.
Along the Gulf of mexico, where mayan and
Olmec kingdoms once flourished....
At the enchanting House that sings...La Casa Que Canto
it has eight pools that cascade into each other, as the
resort is built into a cliff...Overlooking the bay of
Zihuatanejo...
Sing it....

All I need is a bloody mary - I'm there with you.
Nancy in North Carolina
I've been here and you did it justice! Way better than their own website and brochures. It is just as exquisite as your words...
The Tides Zihaut is really nice too... great meal service with white linens and your feet in the sand.
need that so much right now!!!!
What a wonderful place to my next vacations!
See you there!
Xoxo
Wish I was there! A mojito in hand!
You are killing me!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I am so relaxed now.

You do realize I'm in Chicago, right? These photos are totally unfair.
I could use some warm temperatures at a gorgeous place like this right about now!
Hey Christine! I'm Tina! from TheKnot, I started following ur blog again :) Do you go or work at Nova? I think I've seen you around, but I'm not sure if it's you!
I thought this place looked FAMILIAR! I didn't stay at this place, but I have stayed in Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa... it is BEAUTIFUL and wonderful! It is on the Pacific Ocean, not the Gulf of Mexico. When I was there it was soooooo charming and sooooo NOT commercial... I haven't been there in years... but I have heard that it has stayed more low-key... I hope so!
Have you been? If not, GO!
I've been there many a time. It is truly as beautiful as the photos suggest.
Oh yes, I'm with you. It's beautiful!
I NEEDED this post tonight. I'm literally sitting at my computer with a blanket wrapped around me--including over my head. I'm so cold, but this warmed me right up!
hey - i'll meet you there. how about this thursday? ;)
It looks perfect. When's the next plane out?
Oooooh ... it's BEYOND heaven! I've been to Zihua a couple of times, but have never had the privilege of staying here. One of these days, my friend ... one of these days!
:-)
Look at this place...I could just travel from one of your fab spots to the next....all year long
I think I could tear myself away for a little journey. Though I need more than a little suitcase for my bathing suit, lol! :-)
Realmente é um lugar maravilhoso!!! Mas você já veio ao Brasil? Temos aqui lugares como esse, muito lindo e com aguas mornas (mornas pela propia natureza)e como vocês falam PARADISE.!!! Um abraço
