What a joy to read your words and to view the delicious photos of pie. I'm so happy you joined the potluck--love your blog!
gorgeous as all your posts, but edible, even better!
Oh, my goodness! Your grandmother makes the best looking pies and you take the best pictures of pies! I felt like the pie crust was flaking right off the screen and onto my keyboard. :) I hope you've taken good notes from her.
Now girl this just made me so hungry..love the pie..Happy Foodie Friday to you...hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Linda- that pie looks heavenly!! The crust is layers and layers... yummm!!
Mmmmm, your pie looks so delicious! It reminds me of my mom's pies. ☺
Holy hannah, could you send over a piece?
I am craving pie now! Love how your post is like a poem with pictures! :D Jewel
The crust is alway my favorite part of the pie...any pie. I've never perfected Granny's crust, but it looked like your Grandma B's, Linda. J says my mother made the best lemon meringue pie he ever ate. I haven't perfected that, either!!
Great post! Certainly makes my soup in a box look very puny, that's for sure!!
Have a great weekend!
I'll take a slice for breakfast please!
Yummy! My all-time favorite pie.
What a beautiful pie! The crust is amazing. My grandmother also made the most wonderful pies I've ever had, and I'm sure that the secret ingredient is love! However, she couldn't bake a cake to save her life! Love you blog! Kathy
YUM! That looks delish!
My grandmother (who is visiting right now) just made me an apple pie a few weeks ago, yummmm!
How delicious! There's nothing like a homemade pie from Grandma!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
looks delish - I am so hungry now...note to self, do not read foodie posts before lunch :)

Hrmph. Apples schmapples... Where's the Key Lime(in the coconüt) pie? ::gently taps fork on plate held high:: xoxo <3 Üdo
Love that pie. I am a big fan of flaky crusts! Can Grandma B. adopt me? :D
Yummy!
Carolyn
I think..Grandma B has secrets in her crust!
Looks so good my mouth is watering! Give me pie over cake ANY day of the week...it is my WEAKNESS!!!!!!!!!!!! Pinky
I have never been able to make a great pie crust like my grandmother made. Your pies look so good and tempting.
Oh Linda~This makes me want to bake a pie. Except living alone I would eat the whole thing probably in one sitting.
I have to tell you that I went to see Greg Mortensen last night. I am just blown away.
I want to thank you for your visit to my blog & your wonderful deeply heartfelt words.
Now I am going to try to go post about last night. I fear that I can't even begin to do him justice because I was SO in awe of the whole night, that remembering details eludes me...
Yum! I agree - love's the *best* ingredient. :)
Yep, it's love! My Gramma used to make a small pie - just for me (her favorite amongst all grandchildren) and mark it with an R (she said gloatingly - is that a word?) ~ Robyn
no fair - I want some!!!!!!!
Pure love and yum!
sweet mercy................
Oh no no no....This is not MY grandma, but my kidlets (my mom). She gifts us with her pies often...and what a treat.
I was never a pie lover, and growing up it was a common thing...even steak and kidney pie...My mom (and Dad) is/was Canadian, so pie is the second language.
My Kids, should have been hers...cause they SOO love a good pie. The gene excaped me. I admit and embrace that.
....And feel so lucky that they can taste a REAL pie.I even love 'em. And am the families self proffessed pie not lover.
'Cause lord knows, when it comes to pie crust, I don't do well. Nope.
Wow! I have crust envy! Sweet!
an online potluck?? well this is the best wayt to kickoff the weekend!
Well, thats just no fair..
I have a nice warm cup of fresh coffee next to me, AND A FORK!!
I just cannot get a taste of it...

I have seen hundreds of wonderful mouth watering photos on blog posts but this pie may be the most scrumptious of all ......
Mmmm - Boy I could go for a piece of that pie! Apple pie is one of my favorite pies and those pictures look like they give that yummy pie justice!
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.
Blessings - Debbie
YUM! That is LOVE!
You should have her from-scratch carrot cake!!!!
I was going to say, nobody bakes a flaky pie like my mom, but this one seems to look pretty flaky and yummy.
Makes me want to blow the diet!
