Yeah Laura the two rooms above the fish are the makeover of the orange room. I kinda like the white fish on the mantel.

I have to say...I don't love fish but have three fish platters prominently displayed in our kitchen. Hmmmmmmmm.

I like fish, but not well enough to eat one...I was not expecting the fish!!! Thanks for the giggle. **blows kisses** Deborah

hi Linda & thanks for visiting my blog today! I feel right at home in those rooms, I am a beach girl from the Jersey Shore living in Alaska for the past 27 years...

Your tribute to the polo ponies was so moving. What a shame... xoxo

Hum...it is clever and neat...but for some reason not exactely the sort of house I would dream of. There is something missing for me.

I love the white fish on the fireplace - that is really cool! And the huge basket of driftwood. Really neat.

How funny! I didn't notice the fish at first. I do like the white and the round mirror over the fireplace. Not sure about the ferns... I think big shells would look better or maybe some candles...

Not too much of a fan of orange...but it does look really crisp and clean while still being warm and slightly cozy~

Fish...hmmm!!

I am really into ferns these days... a super cheap way to add some lush-ness to any room or porch! Love them on this mantle...

Clean, clever, and GORGEOUS! LOVED what they did. The paint alone transforms the room. The fish, however....hmmmmm. :)

I like it!

Do you remember Molly's reaction to the fish on the mantel at the condo? I had to move it!!!

The tribute to the ponies was wonderful.

You know I love white rooms! But then again, anything you do will be gorgeous.

Thanks for the comment on the shell mirror! If you'd like one just let me know and I will make it just for you :) I must say, I think shells would work nicely in your home!

haha! loved that last photo! I was wondering.... then I read that you were keeping us on task! I like the orange, it is different, refreshing for a beachy home. Not sure I could do it, I like the white like Côte de Texas better.

Linda I like the new do of the room. I'm loving all the white so much I want to paint our kitchen and family room white, but don't think our furniture will go with the bright white. Thanks for sharing. xoxo

What's wrong with the fish guys? I love fish, especially if is in a coconut sauce. ha ha. Yummy yummy

P.S. your blog is such refreshing. Every time I visit I feel like I'm back to my childhood days in the tropical.

I used to love wild punches of bold color. Now, I love the simplicity of whites and creams and monochromatic schemes. (ooooh that rhymes).
The fish - he's looking at me. Icky. LOL

Nemo on salt - very lip smacking French! Yum-meeeeee. Fun room, but felt odd with the wicker. Great ferns.

Free Furniture next week....all the coffee tbale wood you can stand - if I take the winning powerball.
