These days I'm drawn to any kind of art that I can actually put up on my wall! For too long I've been avoiding hanging things because I'll just have to take them down soon to repaint and protect from the dust once we get back to the tiling projects around here. But someday I'll hang 'em!
ooohh.. I really like these paintings! My faves here at home are by Jane Slivka... she is an impressionist per say... her website is JaneSlivkaGallery.com I own 5 of her paintings and love to look at them every day!
woweeeee, those are just stupendous! I love love love the one where the swimmer is on her back in the black bathing suit. Thats my stroke! My crush lately is anne packard. Crave her sence of the beach, although she is an east coast gal, I think she could do my lonely upper west coast some real justice if she ever wanted to come over and try!! I might even let her stay at my place! happy sunday lime in the coco!! Coastalnest
I'm here in Oxnard looking out the window at the water behind our home. This beautiful art would be perfect up here. It's definitely getting me ready for a new season!
Linda, I am a huge art lover. But can't draw to save my life. Maybe that is why it so easy to appreciate the ones who are blessed with that talent. Very good artist. Happy week! xx Mon
Linda, how are things going? I feel your blog is in constant summer mode, and I'm definitely in desperate need of some sun!! LOVE the paintings, they're beautiful! :)
Great colors and wonderful movement-can I be in a pool somewhere in Hawaii right now-not that weather is so awful in San DIego, just makes my soul wish for a vacation!
Linda, Thank you so much for featuring me on your blog! I just got back from vacation in Florida and although it is freezing here in NY I couldn't be happier to see my work on your site. Thanks again!
first time here... Artistic world view? Ahhhhh photography? Delectable wordsmithing? Inspirational, giggle inducing commentary? What's not to like? Thank you for sparking my creativity, tickling my funny bone, and making me feel that quirkiness is an attribute to cultivate and indeed celebrate! You made my day, you lime in the coconut!
