So beautiful... Does she smell like a puppy? Nothing smells better than horseflesh and a saddle to me, but I've never smelled a foal. Beautiful markings.
How absolutely charming. Beautiful baby.
Linda,
OMG!!!! The first thing I'm doing in the morning is showing Lucy these pictures. She is going to absolutely die! She rides horses and is in love with them.
One of my first childhood memories is watching a calf being born and getting up to walk. I can remember my Dad helping it straighten out its legs. I was probably 4 or 5 and I remember it like it was yesterday. Truly, an amazing experience.
And, your kindness abounds! I so appreciate your remarks on RHS. I really, really do.
Hope you have a great week.

Say a special gardener's prayer for my palms, and yes Linda new life is amazing, especially to an animal lover. Take care of that new baby!

Truly a miracle, isn't it? She's simply adorable!
It always amazes me how fragile something newborn seems (be it baby, foal, or shoot) and how relatively sturdy it is.
