I'm going to post pictures of our retail soon full of our fall mums! Sales are slow this year and I'm hearing that from all over. Growers from Canada and the US are not able to pump them out as fast as usual.
Perhaps you can start a trend in Florida and get a garden mum....help the economy a little :)
No worries! I think a velvet pumpkin in turquoise and one in bright orange would do it for you.....!!!HAHA Your casa is beautiful..... Just not like September in Vermont........xo Maryanne
I've been meaning to tell you.. you have inspired me to not worry so much about framing my artwork that is on canvas!!! LOVE your casa..in any season!!!
North Florida here. No fall down there? Tsk Tsk...want I should send along some of our lovely..er...umm...well, we have some leaves (oh ok. they didn't fall, technically, as much as shriveled from the drought} Well, how about some lovely berries,oh, wait, no...those aren't around yet, and the squirrels ate all the decent pine looking cones...so...um..i guess...what i meant to say is..Love your white pumpkins.
LOL! I hear ya. It's still in the high 80s down here. However, since it's going to be freakin' October in a few days I've been running the air conditioner cold and lighting my spice scented candles. It will be Fall in my house at least darn it!
I know the feeling being in Florida during the Falland Christmas. A SUMMER day, nothing special. My Daughter Renee is in Boca and she misses being in Maine.
I love all of your art! I had always heard there were four seasons, but I wasn't really sure until we bought a place in Colorado. Now, I know for sure. Yes, fall exists. In south Texas, we know it to be hot and warm. And, of course, almost all trees are evergreen. Oh, well. there could be no trees at all. So, no complaints.

But I do need to know did the pumpkins fade inside as well as out?!!!
Sadly???
Seriously... sadly??
IMO, that's a perfect little nod to autumn in a warm clime.

It's 500 degrees in my apartment in LA right now. Fall? I feel ya! I am ready to layer!

lol! I just put one measly fake pumpkin on my doorstep today - it's way too hot for a real one; it would rot by the end of the week!
