Better a bit than nothing, but you know we're up for a heaping handful!
You do "collected" so, so well.
Makes me feel I am way too sparse, and that's a neat trick given my possession-a-phobia...but overall you permit so much breathing room I don't just want to admire, I want to move in. Let me know when there's a vacancy....
ps Big Butt Chair looks like s/he has been there forever. [That's the point, I know!]
DeLovely! Big Butt Chair is looking mighty handsome and I love love love the light on the pineapple painting. I would also like a tour of your home. I am shipping myself UPS ground and should arrive some time next week. **kisses** Deb
astal03 Thanks for the peek inside your home. It's lovely. There are many elements that would fit right in my home...like the pineapple painting!!! I love the old(?) Florida landscape. It reminds me of a Highwayman painting. Is it? Jane (artfully graced)
Y'all are so NICE!I just love ya to pieces! Although I laugh when I hear the term lived in. I always think it is the polite way for saying..."What a frickin' mess!!"
:)....guilty as charged!
Yvonne...No I did not paint the painting above ole big butt! That would be painted by local (and quite celebrated) artist Ginny Piech Street!
Jane..the other painting (what you thought was a florida landscape) is actually from a Hudson River painter George Inness. It was one of his last (when his sight was quite bad) that is why it is so blurry and foggy for a Hudson River Painting. One of my faves...bought it while I was in college.
g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s.!!!!!!!!! I'm especially loving the 'big butt corner'! and that lampshade on your hab. for hum. lamp (?think that's where you got that jewel?)is perfect!!!
Ok....the curve of the guitar against the curve of the chest is very sexy and the brass reading lamp picture is just beautiful...it's all beautiful. Your house if so full of life and living. Those are the best! Maybe I will do this. A little peek here and there might not intimidate me too much I mean geeeze have you seen the gorgeous way in which so many talented bloggers live!?! xo
Oh Linda, thank you for linking these up to Vignette Fridays. I'm sorry I'm just now getting around to see them ... but now I'm salivating and I'm sorry I don't have a napkin! LOL! Everytime I come here I see one more thing that I HAVE to have! Pillows, chairs ... you name it! Thanks again, and I hope you link up again next week! :)
coconut LOVE. I think i could sit and contemplate lovely things at your casa for days {while you bring me a martini, hostess} and then go outside and absorb myself with the tropical atmosphere (while you bring me fancy drink with the umbrella in it}.
OR we could skip the drink..and just go shopping. :) you find the bestest stuff.
