Yes indeedy! A walk on the beach sounds (and looks!) so relaxing. At least Sadie and I get to walk the path along the river every day. Can't wait to sink our toes into the sand again...
sounds like my mantra...little is needed for a happy life...they knew about that back in the Greek philosopher days...or would that be Rome? (Marcus Aurelius)
nice quote. i am really busy and i am trying to make a big change in my life. these images -especially the doggy feet and your feet make me remember a g-d quote about walking in the sand and seeing an extra set of foot prints along side your own they are supposed to be g-ds.
ah i know this little book, linda. and i often think this thought. it's so true. the beach and the sea have a way of simplifying. i will spend much of my summer doing that, and my own writing will be simplified as well.
Hello. I was just going through your posts. They were interesting. The photos on here are great. Thanks for the inspiration. Come on over to my blog some time. :)
Hey There, It is busy (thankgoodness)and Gifts from the Sea is my most favorite book. It was written in 1955 yet is timeless for all of us. I have sent away at least a dozen copies of the book with the guest that stay at "99steps" and are introduced to the wonderful writings of Ann Morrow Linburg. Thanks for the reminder and that yummy photograph!
I know what you mean, my head is spinning from all that is on my plate. But I love it, nonetheless. Hope you are doing well despite the busy times. xoxo L

Truer words were never spoken. I don't know how I could ever live away from the beach. Ever.
Hope things slow down for you!
