Actually, I know a Great Dane who looks just like this one - his name is Winston and he lives in Arkansas. And his water and food bowls are up on stands just like that . . . he's the sweetest thing, but so big!

Yep...BIG is the operative word. I know a big black boy who looks like this one...and LIVES here with us...er...us with him.

I love Great Danes, and would love one to share life with us. Alas we live in a 1200 square foot ranch house, which we love, by the way, but it IS small. And have 4 cats. :) But every Great Dane i've ever met has been the sweetest dog. Love 'em! You are lucky!

We sure do! We had a fawn and a brindle in our 800 sq/ft apartment.... Our fawn passed... We sure love our horses!

Great love happening here, as it should! Where oh where should I search for stands like yours-err-his?
We have noticed that it's getting more and more difficult for Gracie to eat at floor level so we've improvised. The stands would be great!

Just spent 2 weeks in WA visiting my son, DIL and new grandson AND their 9 month old (100#) Dane puppy, who loves to "sit" on my lap! They really are sweet dogs!

Lisa...the stands we use are plant stands from Home Depot....they fit a 13 gallon dog bowl perfectly! Easy peasy...You can buy wooden ones too. though.

Oh what an incredibly sweet photo of your boy.
That is a shot to treasure...how could you not love a BIG boy like that?
Very thoughtful of you to put his dog bowls at an easy height for him to eat.
The things we do for our babies....gotta love them!

Love your family room! The map is cool. What a clever idea to raise the bowls...they fit into your space nicely...I wouldn't have noticed them if the arrow was absent. :)

Yep...we are ALWAYS tripping over that dayum arrow!

That's a great family room, and after all our pets are important members of the family, so they need their 'stuff' in there too. My two love the lounge room. I just moved a newly recovered sofa in, and thrown a cover over it, but I know they will make it their own, and like the last one, they'll find the cover handy to hide well chewed doggy treats that I will inadvertently sit on!
