{YAWN}

Cottage Living Idea home...has some great "ideas"!

You can check it out here

This is not the yawn part

Great Morrocan/Spanish influence...
I was recently awarded a gold card from lovely Bridget at

My Silly Blog...Thanks girl!! I'm passing it on to the

the following wonderful peeps and places...it has some simple rules:
This is not the yawn part, either

1. You may choose five people/blogs to give the award to.

2. Four have to be dedicated followers of your blog.

3. One has to be a new follower of your blog or live in another part of the world.

and for another part of the world...How about beautiful Brasil?

And the oh so lovely and visual Visual Vamp in NOLA has asked me to

list 6 quirky yet boring things about me.

{YAWN} yep...yawn part below

I like heavy cream in my coffee...(chill out...NOT every day)

I keep fresh flowers and leaves in the house(stolen from outside) eveyday

I like baths (even showers) by candlelight

The washer and dryer run daily...and still there is a big pile!

I can't kill insects...I let them out

I like salt on my watermelon

And I pass this to EVERYONE in my blog roll ------->

Go ahead, everyone...I dare ya!

I got a little "ping" saying you had linked to me under the post title "YAWN" and I have to say I got a little nervous. Had I been too boring this week? Ha.

Thanks for the award! Aren't you sweet? I appreciate it--and I don't think you're boring at all! -Julia :-)

Thanks for the award, my friend. I'll try to update my blog later today, so I can pass it on. Busy, busy week. I know you can relate. :-)

I just wanted to say that thanks to you my computer is so bogged down with inspiration pictures! I love them all! Thanks so much.

Btw, since I am new to blogging, how do I follow your blog? I can't seem to find the right button? I have it on mine but am clueless with yours. Thanks.

These stair risers are so pretty. I did something similar with one set of stairs with Melanie of Modello designs. Each stair riser has a different henna design:)

Those pics truly took my breath today.

Amen Linda to salt on the watermelon! Those two fuse together beautifully.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Love the leaves on the mantel in the Cottage Living photo - I do that, too. :)

And as for the laundry - I do several loads a day and can never get caught up - ever!

ooooooh, fun! I love showers by candlelight (baths aren't for my ADD brain unless I drag someone in with me)... next time you find yourself lighting the candles, get an ice-cold beer to take with. P knows I'm having the worst kind of day when I grab a Shiner and a BIC. ;)
