A nap, under a ceiling fan, with the sound of the waves just outside the open window. Oh me.

the turquoise floor is great!
i love the use of surfboards in decor. my friends just built their house here in the virgin islands; they're used a couple of vintage surfboards on their balcony to help block afternoon sun. what a creative idea!

At this point, I really think it would be easier (and quicker) to say what I don't like about those pictures! Everything is so darned dreamy! That FLOOR is perfection!

Personally, I'll take the cozy banquette.

I love the mirror in the first photo, and the four light blue vases (?) on either side of the sink. I'm tired of construction--I want to start accessorizing!!

Love the one with the surfboards! We're leaving for vacation at the shore tomorrow. Looking forward to feeling beach sand between my toes. I just hope it stops raining here for a few days.

Why not indeed?! Is it OK if I fall in love with every picture you post? I'm feeling a little bit like a slacker as I look at that lovely pleated edge on the sofa slipcover. Why didn't I do something like thaton mine!? I'm a bum!

I love that picture of the boy's room (I guess?) with the globe and textured window shade. I'm getting ready to do a nursery and my only inspiration so far is a similar globe. Thanks for the additional inspiration!

Beautiful pics, Linda! Thanks for stopping by to see me. I wonder why it is that we are all so enthralled with beachy these days. I mean, it's been around forever, but it seems that style has just captured everyone's fancy, myself included.
