Oh...I hear ya Pink! I don't even want to go outside to see the shape my sad tropicals are in. I know, from experience some will survive...but know others won't.
Cryin' with ya.
Sara.....ooooh. Blustery. The catwalk is in balmy Hawaii....ahhh...
I really hate what's outside right now. Windchill 11 below, blowing snow, dark skies. I'd love to live in one of those images. It really does help just looking at them.
O.K. that is what my frozen body needs...sunshine and heat! Us, canadians know the cold ,BUT we are probabvly the best nation on earth for escaping it. I can be there just by looking at the pics. It's a gift...thanks for yours!
When I first saw that pool, I thought you were going to tell me it was your backyard oasis. I was going to have to invest in some serious pancake make-up to cover up my pea green pallor! ;) Sending warm thoughts your way!
Id love to be sitting by that fire with ya! Good times, sister! Who woulda thought the Pacific Northwest would be the warm spot @ 45 this morning... xoxo Coastal Nest
So far, my tropical plants have seemed to survive...but we still have several more days of this weather.... At least we don't have snow!!! It's still paradise!
There is something so not right about frost on my car window this morning. I had to bring in my orchid 2 nights ago. Well at least I can wear the new scarf that I crocheted. Keep warm. Kathleen
thank you, thank you, thank you for this wonderful pictures, i would give anything and i mean anything to be there right now,lol..did i thank you already??lol.
You Floridians must feel like ice cubes! Love the images...although, I am enjoying the cold because I can't stand the heat and humidity that will be coming! xo
Oh...It is so sad...coconut trees dying...ginger turning their cold gray toes up. I tell ya. Tropicals in the subtropics just aren't happy...I'm just sad. And cold...mostly sad.
ohmygoodness these r beautiful photos! they led me into fantasyland for a lil while so i appreciate it very much! it is 38 below zero now here in the omaha area... i sure could use a trip to your places BIGTIME!
Beautiful shots...I hope that you are not experience the freeze that the rest of the country is! San Diego, has been hovering around 70 degrees the last week or so...no complaints at all!
Hi Linda, Thanks so much for your great photos! I'm freezing here in Alabama this morning too! I posted a link to your blog today. I'm using some of your photos as inspiration for my dollhouse miniature tropical plants! These won't freeze and don't have to be watered either. :D Hope it warms up for you soon!
Thank you for the lovely quote about the stars for my dog, Bear. They really are more than just dogs...love bundled up in a furry little package. **happy smiles** Deb
Awww...you poor Floridians...dealing with what I'm dealing with on a DAILY BASIS up here in NY. Ugh. I can't wait for winter to be over. So...Linda....I'm sure you must have some laundry room makeover pics to share, don't you? Hmmmmm?
It's very cold. I can't complain when I saw a frozen waterfall in MI. Us southern girls are not used to chill like this. I hope your beautiful garden survives it especially after all the work you did!
It's always wonderfully warm and welcoming here on your beautiful, colorful blog. I could live here! Got any rooms to let? Oh, and I'll be happy to do laundry for my board...and cook...and clean windows!
I love this post Linda! You are doing a wonderful community service to all those freezing in less than warm places. Sounds like Florida isn't that tropical at the moment either - hang in there. Millie ^_^

Ah, you're killing me! I sit here, wrapped in a red pashmina with Edward on my feet, expecting snow!
One day I will live in a place where the snow will not find me!
Love the walk!!

I would like to
Twitch my nose...
Close my eyes...
and be there ...
Linda, you must be freezing down there since you're not used to the cold.
