Colors of thanksgiving weekend early in the morning at our casa…

It’s lazy. We have had turkey in many forms. Soup tonight.

The birds are singing outside…the windows are wide open…the sun is rising

…and for now… I cannot seem to remove myself from my well worn chair in my well worn room.

While the breezes blow.

two fave paintings…Hudson river painter George Inness towards the end of his career

and two of four of my favorite kidlets…how does the time fly?

Enjoy the last of your thanksgiving weekend.

May warm breezes blow for you.

Beautiful images. That well worn chair seems like a perfect place to spend the last hours of this holiday weekend.

I'm thinking of turkey and biscuits for dinner. How 'bout you?

We all need these kinds of days just to reflect and regroup. I refuse to do anything more than what I have to, hah.

The last of Thanksgiving weekend...and there's a bright and glorious crescent moon out there winking away at me...time to go for a breezy little walk.

Ah, Linda - thanks for these.

I am a new (avid) reader of your blog...your garden is JUST what I envision for my space. I call my style "lush, plush, and overdone".

I'm a new reader here and a new blogger too...so new that nobody has checked me out yet except me. I don't take it personally.

If you want to say hello, I am at http://mystluciangarden.blogspot.com/

I've spent many happy hours looking at the lovely photos you post. Thank you.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I don't recall ever seeing the flowers in your photo before. What kind are they? You are one lucky gal to have so many different flowers right at your finger tips. xo

Seeing our son off tonight...back to Mouse-town...there was the crescent moon brightly shining...reminding me of one of the boys' favorite childhood movies... "Angels in the Outfield". There's a line in the movie...the little boy is looking out the window..."Look! It's God's thumbnail!" MG pointed skyward and quoted the movie. Ahhhh...memories! I am so thankful...

I was gonna say, that looks like an Inness painting. Love it. His paintings of FL always remind me of home.

Looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We were in Wyoming (where it was surprisingly warm). Kidlet didn't want any part of Thanksgiving dinner except for the pumpkin pie. So his dad let him eat pretty much a whole slice! Eegads.
