I am laughing cause I have the same trouble with my family. They have even moved the centerpieces off the table to make more room for food!
Your centerpiece is lovely! All those little pieces would make it difficult to move it all off. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah Ahrisha...It is near impossible...maybe, just maybe I went a tad overboard.

Love this tropical table, festive yet still the tropical vibe. I wouldn't mind having a meal here. Hope you have a fabulous Christmas week!

So fresh and beautiful. Sometimes beauty has to trump function!

Oh, they're no fun. That's really beautiful. And dessert is built right in.

Sea Laura...Besitos! Carla...YES! Steve...It is funny, but the cashier at Fresh Market asked what I was going to do with the artichoke and Pome. I sheppishly said, uh...put themon the table for a centerpiece. Then EAT them!

Haha, I totally understand. We actually use are (very small) dining table as our mail holder, so everybody has to hold their plates in their laps if they eat at our house.

I think your decor is just lovely. They can deal!

I think it looks great and they should sit with their plate on their lap so they don't disturb it! :D

Looks really pretty but I suspect something will have to go when it's time to eat. Don't you love the little comments that will fly? So pretty, it's worth it!

I adore your decorating skills... alas.. i don't eat at your table. I love all the colors and the plentiful greenery. And the pineapple symbolizes welcome, does it not? :)

It's beautiful! And it may be "that time of year when the world falls in love" but it's also the time for huge gorgeous impractical centerpieces!

Fantastico!
