I too had a Show Mom. She could be relied on for the fried egg sandwich to go for the early exit to the Event. And as the "go back to" the trailer for the forgotten over-girth. (She also hosted the home show food concession. To RAVE reviews!)
Hoping your daughter is experiencing every aspect of owning and riding a horse, as I used to love. ie: mucking stalls, braiding the mane, saddling, etc.
Since moving from Oregon to Southern California I've witnessed these cared for girls who would not know what to do with their horse if the groom was not present. But they do learn to speak fluent Spanish!
Loved the shots of the horses. Kinda made me nostalgic, since I don't get to ride anymore....very expensive here. Congrats to your daughter on her blue ribbon...you must be a very proud mum.
