Ok Ok.
I admit it.
I steal Halloween candy.
Except…now the dudes hide it.
Well, only a quarter of them that’s one out of four for those of you on a sugar hangover
even don an outfit and go out.
So... it’s not so much fun…with nothing to steal and all.
~BUT~
For those with kids who don’t hide goodies from thieving parents…who have too much wrapped sugar on hand…
who want to incorporate it into good{ish} food.
try this…
Doesn’t that just make sense?
And for those who prefer homes to candy any old day….
feast on some of this.
Reminds me of ….
That's it...I’m searching for a hidden pillowcase.
STAT!

Would that I could, I would slip that blue door into the pillowcase ;-)
Yum! I love the base of goodies for the apples! And yes I confees, I use to steel candy from my children's plastic pumpkins!

what a great idea for crumbled candy!! drool...love that lofty space.
Yep definitely a jelly bean interior, very fun. They have a tea pot so all is well. I would be trick or treating if I could. A candy thief? Who me?
I alas...love BOTH eye candy and the real thing!
Just when I thought I was "candied out" last night, you go and post this delicious and nutritious information. My thighs are very angry at you.
I am drooling over the apples and the room.
Love the colorful candied apples. Have a great Sunday.

Candy hound? Me too. Lecturing in Charleston, SC years ago they had a lovely hostess, about 80 years young, & knowing every devious bit of history, show me the city.
After an hour I asked if I could buy her a bag of candy. She said 'yes', my kind of gal.
We finished Charleston eating our bags of candy.

The key is to have a kid who's a little particular about the candy he eats. Mine doesn't like peanuts, so I just got a whole Snickers bar. A WHOLE bar! Woo Hoo! This mom scored!
Love that bright room!!!
I don't usually have much of a sweet tooth....but if I do, a little piece of organic dark chocolate does it for me:)
Oh man: confession. We've been feasting on caramel apples EVERY WEEK since like, September. LOL Only 1 a week but hey...
Um, I'll give you my secret stash for now and until forever if you can get me that sofa: TREAT!!!!
XOXOXOXO
Hey Linda, We steal candy too. Luckily she was able to go out for a little bit last night, so she has a stash. Hmmm. Wonder what I'll have toight.
YUMMY!
Yup...an almond joy lover here too. But I don't have to steal...my kids don't like them. Yay for me, eh? We all go trick-or-treating and always in a super cool 'hood so I can look in the windows. I like to multi-task! Hey...Amber is putting in some amazing new tiles...have you heard?
Those apples make SO much sense!
Sorry you missed out on last week's giveaway, but I'll be posting another one later today (and every Monday until the week before Christmas. Yay!).
Happy Monday!
oh those apples look yummy!
i believe in one candy a day...:-)
great carmel apple idea!
think i'll try it this week
I would die for that couch.
ok in our house...we have an inside joke about dots (see my post from Thursday I think...) My husband almost miss the birth of our 3rd son because I sent him to the car to get Halloween DOT candy..... I love the DOT candy picture...my fav...ok the couches were cool too~!
hahaha i love having a 2 year old.. he doesn't even know when we take it!! ;)
that room totally looks like dots!
also, i couldn't open up your email of the window- coiuld you resend if you get a chance? can't wait to see it!!
xoxo
I think you would positively be unable to be unhappy in a room like that! I love it! So open and light and joyful! Even better to be on that sofa with a scrumptious candied apple!
Oh that's too funny! I snuck two reese's peanut butter cups from my sons stash today for my coffee time snack! I feel terrible but.....it sure was yummy :)
Now you've done it - after reading this post - I'll have to raid my husband's chocolate stash!
Oh the those candy apples looked so yummy! Why do you have to do that to us??
Love that room! And I steal candy too, from anyone at work that has it, every day of the year. :)
Let me tell you Linda how many of my daughter's candies I have managed to stuff down my face the past 2 days...its a sin I tell you, and I waited to the last minute to buy candy so I wouldn't be tempted to open those Nestles Crunch and Butterfingers before the big day
Almond Joys...the best candy around!!! I always buy 1 bag of these and hold them aside...saying they are my "just in case I run out" candy. Somehow, we never run out. Hmmmmm....mmmmm!
Jane (artfully graced)
ps I do love color, but that living room is a bit much!
Delightful! Love the decor of that pink room (it looks like how my Dots would decorate a loft!).
Count me among the candy stealers. Can I just say that kids these days have much less "bad candy" than I remember getting on Halloween. Remember those chewy things wrapped in orange or black waxy paper? I seemed to end up with half my bag filled with those.
Thanks for the eye candy!
Haaa! The black and orange wrapped chewy things...Yo are right!! WHAT were they?!
Dislike! Stop stealing your child (and her friend's) candy!! ;P
