::Thankful::
...for Big Black dogs managing all the comings and goings...
For the imperfection ( perfection?) of messes in the kitchen
made by once little people
creating a part of the meal…
and husbands
brining turkey’s
because they saw an article online…
and Grandma’s
making apple pies… teaching those with once tiny hands...
now large.
yep.
Thankful…sooo thankful.

The best to you and yours this Thanksgiving Day...
Hold ‘em tight.

Oh darling Happy TG to you too!
And you made me laugh with the turkey in the brine! We did that about five years ago! We must have seen the same article! Never again! It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good :-)
Love your TG photo essay too.

Happy Day all...I am filled to the brim. Filled.
OMG...the Tofurky was nasty!! :-) Seriously, it was the saltiest thing I've ever tasted. Even my Big Black Dog wanted no part of it. There's a "roast" by a brand called Quorn that it is much much better.
I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving! Thank YOU for your fabulous blog (I just printed pictures from it last week...we're about to kick-off shorehouse winter reno projects. Gulp.).
