So what happens when…

Your small town has an art show

under the oaks…

So the artists let you take pictures of their art...how lovely...the boat picture is sublime.
My weekend featured glorious sunlight, a little spring-cleaning, cooking, and the movie Avatar. We tried to get in at Pop's Sunset Grill last night but it was packed with spring breakers. Everybody's happy and having a good time!!!!

Oh Linda! I'm speechless! What a wonderful day.

Absolutely beautiful!

We drove home from the lake yesterday, with a little bit of exploring, along the way, as usual.

Love the bug-eyed frog and the sleeping dog! It looks so warm there (must be nice!)...

We spent Saturday planning our landscaping adventures this year, and I spent Sunday inside (out of the rain/snow) workin' on the big press. Weeeee!

Nothing like that!

What amazing artists. Loved the dog art and those oils...wow! I can't wrap my brain around artists who make things look so real you can't tell them from a photo. I wish I could paint like that.

I love art shows and would have loved to be in Florida this weekend. It was rainy and depressing here. Spent the whole weekend working on my updated blog. Uggghhh....back to the workroom today.

Envy you... how lucky to be able to spend your weekend in such a gorgeous manner!

Oh no, that frog. It scares me! Those bulging red eyes are going to haunt me for the rest of my nights! Well, maybe not so much. Anyway, apart from the frog I'm glad you had such a splendid weekend. Mine, I'm glad to say, was frogless!:)

What a great way to spend a day. I love all the photos that you have shared. Brought back a few memories of some art outdoor art shows I attended with my dad, who is an artist.

I so love the frog! Did you buy him? I love art outdoors.
It rained a lot here, so went to dinner and looking for a counter top for our vanity in the masterbath.
In answer to you ? yes most pomo. are more red, but for some reason this one wasn't. Hmmmm... maybe because it was filled with more champagne than normal?!Smile... xo

Love Carol Fitzsimmons.
Does she have a web site?
My weekend circulated around Bed & Tango paying guests, alternating between chambermaid, tango teacher, and tour guide.

I would have sworn these were digital photos, the lonely boats.
Love the lonely boats in a nautical themed home!

We went to an Art show here in FL at a state park last weekend and I showed some of the art I bought on my post today. I absolutely LOVE to go to art shows and festivals! It always amazes me to see what talented people have to offer! Looks like you had wonderful weather, too! ♥

I bet you went home with a much lighter wallet. Do you attend with your Radio Flyer red wagon? I love those espcially when they also sell glasses of wine to sip while you browse. May is the big fair in Capitola with the begonia parade---you must go some year.

Lovely tranquil scene. Was it an original or a giclee? And the frog is a hoot! Now that would be perfect on my lanai...
I think this is the park I visited New Year's weekend...downtown, with a community building? We attended a wedding, and the reception was held here. (One of my dearest friends lives in Vero.)
