Yes, keepers.

I designed sconces onto a deck and front porch this afternoon.

A pair, fabulous, are in my garage. They are a tad more fabulous than my abode. Can't figure out where to put them.

very nice can't wait to see where you put them and what all else you come up with! I'm beginning to think you are a bottomless pit of creativity.

I like em. Can't believe they didn't sell.....

I say "yay"---they are close cousins to a sconce I passed by three times in a consignment shop, thinking it was u-g-l-y! However, the third time I visited the store and it was still there---I saw it in a completely different way and HAD to have it. I had custom Italian-style half shades made for it and installed it in my guest room. I vote for keeping the finish!~Sparky http://sparky-youngbloodstudios.blogspot.com/

Always amazes me you can't get anyone to pay $5.00 for something great at a yard sale but people would pay WAY more than that at an upscale shop...for the same thing....

My Notting Hill said...

Can't believe no one would buy them for $5. But that's good news for you - I'm sure they'll look great in your home.

Pat@BPM said...

Yes, give them a home, Linda!

Congratulations on the feature!

I love those! Definitely a "yay".

Thanks for leaving the sweetest comment on Style Odyssey! You asked where I'm moving...Charleston, SC! Mr. "Odyssey" and I are very excited. We'll be back in the islands some in winter. Might be the best of both worlds, wouldn't that be splendid!
