no takers.
Poor little garage sale rejects.
They were wired ions ago.
Think I will give them a home.

I say Yay!!

I'd give them a home, too! See, this is why we need online blogging garage sales!
I say YAY and I will pay shipping!!! **kisskiss** Deb
They have tons of character. What a treasure!
very different....definitely a keeper!
Yes, keepers.
I designed sconces onto a deck and front porch this afternoon.
A pair, fabulous, are in my garage. They are a tad more fabulous than my abode. Can't figure out where to put them.

Your big butt chair looked right at home over there:)
very nice can't wait to see where you put them and what all else you come up with! I'm beginning to think you are a bottomless pit of creativity.
I like em. Can't believe they didn't sell.....
I say "yay"---they are close cousins to a sconce I passed by three times in a consignment shop, thinking it was u-g-l-y! However, the third time I visited the store and it was still there---I saw it in a completely different way and HAD to have it. I had custom Italian-style half shades made for it and installed it in my guest room. I vote for keeping the finish!~Sparky http://sparky-youngbloodstudios.blogspot.com/
YAY! The remind me of something you would find in New Orleans.
Definitely, YAY! Their interesting...so much potential.

I think they are very Old New Orleans looking...... Keep emmm!!!
Maryanne:)
Always amazes me you can't get anyone to pay $5.00 for something great at a yard sale but people would pay WAY more than that at an upscale shop...for the same thing....
Can't believe no one would buy them for $5. But that's good news for you - I'm sure they'll look great in your home.
Yes, give them a home, Linda!
Congratulations on the feature!
Ah, the rejected, the unwanted always have a story to tell...
I came in from Abbey's blog. Pleased to be in warm waters.
I love 'em. Second post I've read today where someone has gotten a treasure for less. I need to get crackin'. So, my vote is keep and cherish. =s
I adore them, they are fab!

If you can't find use for them inside your home, try outdoors! Very cool with lots of character. A definate keep or if you want to gift them my address is .... lol.
I love those! Definitely a "yay".
Thanks for leaving the sweetest comment on Style Odyssey! You asked where I'm moving...Charleston, SC! Mr. "Odyssey" and I are very excited. We'll be back in the islands some in winter. Might be the best of both worlds, wouldn't that be splendid!
Love the sconces, they have so much character. I am loving your blog! Kathysue
