Linda, it looks amazing! I need you at my house to help me with my antique rocker. I still haven't gotten up the nerve to start re-covering it yet. After all the burlap webbing and staples and tacks I am not quite ready to face the chair again. I finallllllly finished my porch re-do. Still waiting on the cushions to arrive but I think I can say Enuf!! also. If you need a dose of black and white stripes come on by,Kathysue
Looks great! I have 4 vintage pieces in my living room that need to be recovered right now. I am lazy though and will just be saving the money to pay someone else to do it!! :)
Great job on the chair. Congratulations. Now for Pete's sake don't let anyone sit on it with a glass of red wine! (I say this as someone who has a white sofa)
Linda, you are too cool! Gorgeous job on the chair...I thought we were looking at a black-and-white print last time you were working on a chair...I'm confused. But your living room is looking DIVINE...LOVE the black-painted window frames---please don't cover them, you have no need...just some side curtains to soften the edges.
Love the nailhead trim! That just makes the chair! I'm sorry you're having a problem viewing some of my photos, I think it might be a browser issue, I use Google Chrome and Firefox, am going to head over to Internet Explorer to see if that may be where the problem lies! Thank you for letting me know, Linda!
I'm new to your blog, and just realized you reupholstered that puppy yourself. Very smart. I'd need to take a vacation if I did that. Where are you sending yourself?
Linda, Come to my house and do something fabulous to one of my chairs and I will glady watch the paint dry and sing! No wait...that just punishes everyone!!!
Oh, I just love the chair and all your beautiful work!
Look at you! I feel another side-career coming on for you....in re-upholstery! Bwa ha ha ha ha! Come on, now, you know you want to! (Whatcha' painting?)
Hey Girl....fabuloso! You did a fantastic job. I would say you are on a roll too.... send me dimensions and all your furniture and we'll see what we come up with! When we put our heads together, who knows what will happen!

You did the chair yourself? You are hired!! What color for your living room? Don't forget to turn on country music while you paint..the paint flows right along with the music....
You are one talented woman, sister-friend. It looks fabulous!!! I'd love to curl up in it with a cup of tea and a book. Now would be good. =) Can't wait to see the paint color! xo Isa
