Little tropical diversion…

Today was just aBeautiful day in the subtropics!

It CAN get killer hot fast...but today we entertained a flirtacious cool breeze

workin' weather.

We happen to have a series of rooms we are working on...

in our yard

well…kinda sorta working on...the Freeze this past winter worked on 'em more...

Tropical…yes. trying

Big leaves.

riot of blooms...

yep...This week

IMG_5929

SO... Son #1 spent some time

working on another rock room in

front of the Grandma B house

Need some more or different furniture…but a great start…

So…that’s a little happening at our casa…

But...personally... I LOVE perusing the work of a real tropical artist

Like...let's say...

Davis Dalbok a California landscape designer and author.

His work and images, below

This chaise lounge below…Well...I want.

and throw in those fun balinese umbrellas in a big pot

wouldja couldja??

And if lime green and turquoise are not the most adorable tropical prom couple…

Who is?

See those funky sticks below?

Mind out of the gutter folks.

fired ceramic bamboo shapes… stacked on rebar.

Just wild!

Linda your tropical garden looks so lush and colorful I can only imagine how beautiful it is in person. You will have to enjoy it for all of us. Its a job but someone has to do it, no one better than you. Enjoy the process, Kathysue

Sigh. That's just what I needed as I sit here listening to the radio and the stupid man saying it may SNOW tomorrow! May 9 was the last frost date on record. Ever. And now these jerks are talking about snow tomorrow!

Your landscape is so very different from my own. So tropical, so amazing! Is that jasmine in bloom? I can almost smell that delicious fragrance from here.

After Maine ,this looks so LUSH.. I could stay there for a year. I miss the florida plants and
the weather in Feb.Mar.April.
One May I was decorating the tables for a party in the pool area and I became so sick from the heat. Hope you have a nice Summer,
Maybe the heat won't be so bad.
