Ooooo! My heart went pitter-pat when I saw that room with the grasscloth wallpaper and the chunky linen cushions on the window seat! Help me!!
Also, that giant donut painting reminded me of an awesome painting I saw in a showhouse media room this year. It was a dark chocolate brown background, with a huge single popped kernel of popcorn. I'm thinking I need to reproduce it somehow, because it was beyond cool (and also about $4000...lol)
love love the donuts!! what a surprise and amazing how much reaction that sparks sitting amongst such natural and serene objects..and on the wall is the best place for those bad boys!!
Donuts are not my friend. However, that hallway of pictures most definitely is. I am going right now to put up the other 351 frames in my hall...I was really holding myself back. Thank you for setting me free. **blows kisses** Deb
Love it. Not sure I could have it in my house though... the subliminal effects could be devastating. Great Gambrel spaces. Love the daybed and beadboard and pillows and grasscloth... almost as yummy as donuts! (cuz, in my world, there is nothing yummier than donuts)
It's funny that I don't even like donuts but absolutely adore the painting. I've seen other paintings where the donuts are stacked which are also adorable.
hehehe, very cute. I like how your mind thinks (I KNOW I have said that before!). I would have seen that and would have thought it odd that someone WANTED doughnuts on their wall. The rest of the decor though....fab! xoxo
Laughing at myself because even after reading the title of the post, I still didn't realize those were doughnuts in the painting. I got all the way to the bottom and read your cute comment about chocolate on my face - and still didn't realize they were doughnuts :) Just happened to scroll back up slowly and then saw it. I choose to believe they are boston cream doughnuts. My favorite. xo
too funny...but not - I'd gain 20lbs in a month with that picture taunting me to go down to the local bakery :) Love that breakfront - that is a beautiful piece of furniture...then those cushions in the window seat...ya, I'd eat those doughnuts there...!!
My pregnant self will take a dozen, please. Krispy Kreme if you've got 'em. There is a K.K.shop at Paddington Station and when my hubby is traveling by train he knows not to come home empty handed. Yummers! Have a great 4th of July by the way:)
It is definitely not out of the realm of possibility for me to have chocolate on my cheek! (Especially since my emergency stash is in the drawer next to the bed!)
Love this designer's bold ideas, especially the stripped flooring :) and those doughnuts in the first image, also look delish! Thanks for sharing, great inspiration. I will research more on him.
