Strolling outside with coffee cup in hand
I am reminded of soooo
much work to do.
thegrassneedsseedingthebananasneedcleaningre-mulchcleanbeds,clearweedstraintreespickfruitOY….
So. I do what any smart soul would do. Turn on my heel and take my coffee back inside.
running.
But along the way back
Maybe I look up
and over
and through
and I slow down
just a tad
Sometimes it seems the ever-increasing list of things to do
can leave one feeling totally undone.
To accepting an undone Sunday
and enjoying the coffee.
Cheers

I just did the same with my Sunday...good for the soul!
Cute Sunday morning post, Linda! Love the butterfly. I love my Sunday mornings...we have a Sunday morning routine that eases us into the following week...hours of peace and quiet...and a little CBS Sunday Morning...love how they end with a "touch of nature" Once that ends, I have to get up and do something constructive :)
Sounds like a good Plan B. "B" is for beautiful.
Ok Ok off to do some yard work. Coffee is finished!
Hey Steve...how is the big huge boulder in your landscape coming??
Oh yes, I'm totally there. We must not get overwhelmed, that is the stuff of stress. Being a bit lazy on a Sunday is good for your health and well-being!
A perfect Sunday to let things go undone. What a beautiful distraction you have in your garden!
Great summer Sunday morning...
Recently, the boys and wives and dogs have been showing up on Sunday afternoons just to hang out. Blender is humming, pina coladas are ready...snacks at poolside...then grilling something for dinner. It's so much fun just lazing about with family...
Hear hear! I am glad you slowed down and enjoyed all that beauty. Thanks for sharing it too :)
Life is way toooooooooo short to stress! Lovely pics make me start my day relaxed!
NICE!!! If it wasn't for the muggy days your hard work you wouldn't have such a gorgeous garden... Good job! : )
Focus on the good things...I like it.
Stunning photos too. We have bananas too, they get a bit messy don't they, we have a tiny garden so it's not hard for them to take over the world.

What a lovely garden...
You deserve that coffee break,
just look at how well you've worked for that lovely garden. And your photos are seriously stunning.
Oh my, there's a beautiful jungle out there! I love your sense of humor. You make me giggle. **kisses** Deb
Beautiful Sunday photos!
you live in paradise on Earth dear !
Geez, you sound like Mr Vix did this weekend when we were out in the yard and I was taking some photos. We were both a little confused about what we'd planted ages ago and what was a flowery weed, ha.
Let me help you out the way I did him:
"Embrace the gorgeous LUSHNESS! Strive for MORE, not less, abandon!"
As always, your yard is stunning and your photos beautiful. No need to rush that yardwork!
Wow, the garden of Eden had nothin' on you! So lush!!!
Hope you are having a beautiful week!
ooohhhh....
i just added
one of these yummy photos
to
one of my Pinterest boards
:-)
do you Pinterest?
Yes, Some pink, I do! Look for it under Linda Roberts. I'll look for yours. Mine is teensy....but love finding inspiration!
I can't believe you live in that tropical paradise. I know I'd love to spend some time there. Everything else will get done.
Beautiful photography! Thank you for sharing your lovely garden.
Ha! I do the coffee stroll out to the backyard and try not to step in the puked-up mangrove crabs and mullet fish guts that the ospreys deposit on our dock. Florida living is glamourous, right? ;)
Enjoy all that exotic foliage! Your photos are gorgeous.
Love-er-ly Linda! It is sometimes overwhelming to see all that NEEDS to be gone and overlook the beauty all around us. Well done....hope your coffee was good!
xx
What a lovely garden! You deserve that coffee break.
