My little dog has severe panic attacks on July 4th, just shakes constantly. All the fireworks scare her to death! Yes, hope no one is popping them off in our forest tonight!

So true! I was worried about our car tonight...the kids in our friends' neighborhood had an arsenal of fireworks. They were flying over the cars and the houses. I do have to admit, it was a pretty show... And luckily, no fires were set. Of course, everything is still a bit soggy around here....

Lol, you are right, let's not burn US. The Colorado fire is too much to bear already.

I have enjoyed everyone's firework shots...as you know, our state was burning at the time. Rains have come...finally...with their own bit of terror, mudslides and flooding on the ashen slopes.

but, we are personally getting 'just enough' to cool us down and brace us for the next hot flash.

Happy Independence day. This day is a great remembrance for 18th revolution where colonists fought British forces in the original 13 colonies until they won their independence thereby, creating today that we call the United States of America. http://www.primapainting.ca/
