Pretty. Visiting your blog is like doing yoga, or meditating ... or having a nice strong Margarita.

Lovely post.
There's nothing so calming as a neutral palette in a tropical setting--as in, abundant color outdoors but soothing neutrals inside to compliment and create visual balance. We recently changed our Caribbean home's palette to creamy whites, gray, brown and camel (with a few pops of color), and what a difference!

The exposed beams, 4th photo down, remind me of a house I saw on realtor.com the other day. Every so often, I look at homes in the beautiful Ozarks. As you know, our dream is to sell this house and the condo, at the lake and buy a house, in the Ozarks. Anyhow, I was looking at realtor.com and found a house in the Branson area. It had exposed beams. I was thinking it would really be nifty, if we could buy that place and paint those beams and the ceiling white, instead of having the dark stained wood. Are we getting too old for all this dreaming?? I don't think so!

Oooh! I love that fireplace mantel! Looks like it's made of a big hunk of driftwood or weathered wood? Gorgeous house. And I could do some serious lounging around that pool.

Utterly delightful! What a knack for making an interior look effortless, like it somehow just came together without planning, but when you look at the details, you know that quite a lot of thought and planning went into it. Quite a feat, and few accomplish it.

Thanks for sharing!

There's just something about a bunch of straw hats hanging on a hatrack that spells summer to me.

And, to take a bath by an open window...is there anything more relaxing than that??
