WOW...What an Open House Tour Julia put on! I had to scoot off to NYC and then The Chesapeake Bay the morning of the tour, and am just back now.
But a HUGE thanks to everyone who toured Ginny's colorful home and left messages!!
While I go tour all of the other luscious homes on the Hooked on Houses Tour, I'll leave you with a little color and art from my home...
It's nice to be home after a whirlwind visit to the City and Country...
A painting that absolutely glows at night...by Ginny Piech Street....
This is a wall of art in our living room (Ashley from Decorology has sent me some great photoshop pix of how to arrange this better...be looking for that post soon!)...
A mosaic my four kidlets made...was meant to be a table, is now art on our front courtyard wall
A Talavera sink brought back from San Miguel de Allende Mexico...working art!
Laundry room door....REALLY working art!
Let me unpack a bag or two, and catch up with some mail...and I'll talk to you soon!

Welcome back!! Everyone loved your house tour. And I love these rooms you showed us today, too. I'm crazy about that mosaic on the wall. -Julia
oh my...that sink...*drool*
Welcome home, Linda! Hey, did you wave at me when you were up here? I was in Elizabeth, NJ waving across the river at YOU! Hee! (I had to go to IKEA.)
Oh sheeeeeesh, do you believe in soul sisters?
Julia...Gotta tell ya again...what a great tour, still not through half of them! Thanks...Love the mosaic too!
Ashley...the sink actually came back with a little teensy crack. i was sooo bummed, so epoxied it, and it has been beautiful for the past 4-5 years!
Sharon...I DID wave! Came across the ferry from Atlantic Highlands NJ...went right by the BIG IKEA!!
Stephanie...YES...I DO!!
Linda, this is just one more reason why I've always loved your home! Thanks so much for sharing more photos. I can't wait to see your wall of art, redo!

Welcome home, I missed you! I'm in love with that painting that glows, it's absolutely stunning. Your mosaic is so striking - what an incredible job your children did! And that laundry door knocks my socks off!

What a GORGEOUS MOSAIC!!!! I have always wanted to make a table but was so afraid it would be too heavy...
dec0r8or....i live 5 minutes from that IKEA, and as far as the Highlands...i spend at least 2 days a week at Gunnison Beach! ITS A SMALL WORLD!!!
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that laundry room door is perhaps my favorite bit in your house. Lovely, dahlink!
I love your house, Linda! Your art collection is one of a kind fabulous! Your wall of pictures in your living room has always been a favorite of mine...reminds me so much of India Hicks' house in the Bahamas...sigh...
You have the greatest photos...
That picture of your door....that is the cooliest thing ever. Did you make that door or buy it? That boat picture with the orange sky...sighhhhhhh
You have a rainbow of fabulousness right in your own home! I would never want to leave.
I adore your mosaic! I can't wait to show my Little Miss in the morning ... might be a project we'll tackle together! It's ... inspiring. And I want to touch it, run my hand across it!
