Relaxed blue…
Soothing blue…handmade blue…

Meet Buenaventura….
A sassy kinda fella.
named after my HS Spanish teacher Buenaventura Corona
always loved saying that name.
the dude smokes…But he was painted in ‘63… everybody did.
Even his friend next to him…
Paloma.
Not sure where his home will be….but wanted them to be acquainted…
oh…he was a whole 10 bucks at the local Habitat Homestore.
Paloma was found for 7.
17 buck couple.
Meet worn out Asian chair….
She better not get cozy…she’s heading back tomorrow.
I think.
Some favorite images of summer
slowly ever so slowly in these parts shifting to cooler climes
may I reiterate slooooowly?
Robert Capa image of Pablo Picasso
The neighborhood......Years ago….in front of this gorgeous home.
both above images via Canadian Home and Gardens
No rhyme or reason…just cruising my image folder…
Have a wonderful tail end of summer!
As I listened to Bobby McAlpine on the Skirted Round Table this week
terrific interview…go listen if you haven’t. Run.
Something he said really resonated with me.
Chairs
He thinks of chairs as people in a room.
Me too!
I am always pulled to chairs…like giant…or sometimes subdued personalities.
I have too many chairs
but I love them.
Every one of their funky souls…
now don’t these look like people….just hanging out…watching an event? See.
Maybe it is the singleness. The individual uniqueness…
Cause I don’t happen to have any matchy matchy sets. They are all unique…sometimes lost little souls. I collect vagabonds. Yep.
Maybe I am odd. Cross out the maybe. Go ahead.
But I’ll bet a dollar…..even a dollar fifty that you
have an affinity
for one type of furniture too?
spill people.
I wanna know.
‘Stead of the horse photo?(see last post)
I’m on a roll
slow roll…but a roll all the same.
and a bit more context for you.
yes…I know the floors need a fresh glazing
I have considered attaching mop cloths to a certain big black dogs feet
...and duster to a tail.
How about the horses over in this corner…
grazing?
Better? Not?
Heartfelt thanks for your continued thoughts
for our son...
He's getting stronger and stronger.
