Not quite harvest...but orange...

I know, I know...most of you are hunkering down
with fall colors, and visions of pumpkins and harvest...
Fall isn't as cozy here, yet...it's warm and sun kissed
wet and humid.
but, I give you a tad of Orange ...
Hacienda Puerta Campeche
...in, you guessed it, Campeche, Mexico.
Surrounded by the clear sun warmed Gulf and Carribean waters.

It is a beautiful 17th century Colonial estate, made up of several buildings...
and 15 suites... should you want to visit
Look at this bathroom... with streaming sun, and a chaise...
Above photos: Architectural digest
It's the pool that looks most amazing to me...built upon and in the ruins

of the hundreds of year old structure. Like swimming amongst the

Mayan history...through doors of time.

opening the door to another time and place.
..Back to your regularly scheduled fall activities.
Carry on.

Looks like my kind of place. I love how many of the rooms are enclosed yet open "al aire libre". The pool i smy favorite, I could spend all day there.

I can feel myself swinging in that hammock right now, Linda. It all looks so peaceful! You're making me want to go for a vacation!! Of course, today is the most beautiful summer/fall day up here. Sun is shining, air is warm with a cool breeze, no humidity...ahhhhhh.

Oh...YES...that pool is practically edible, and cool, and translucent...

Fay and Sharona, amidst the storms we also had a beautiful, cooler low humidity day today. The ocean was as peaceful as a lap dog. Go figure!

Such wonderful colors. There's just something wonderful about seeing a bunch of saturated color, especially on the exterior of a home.

Oh, I don't know how you find all these lovely places, but they're so beautiful! The bathrooms, the pool - I'll take one of those 15 suites, please. I've forgotten fall already. :)
