Do YOU see the monkey? I don’t…..really…I don’t.

A little birdy sent me this mock up for our bathroom…

Thank you Michelle from Just Imagine !

quick%20fix[1]

My husband

said husband that has a real fear of monkey’s…

could not tolerate.

He is sure a monkey is in there hiding…

somewhere.

maybe holding the toothpaste

or worse.

Me? I think it’s fun.

But….money may be better spent on therapy.

Monkey therapy.

Me thinks.

Thanks again Michelle and every one of ya’s that had an opinion

one way or the other…

smooch!

My vote is still pro-wallpaper. It's over-the-top, but everything else grounds it.

But I've been down the road of compromise before, and know you may need to go another direction. Hmmm. Suggest gorgeous iridescent green tile...he may find the bananas grow on him, ha!

Fun! I love it!!! Of course, it reminds me of going to breakfast at the Beverly Hills Hotel. I think it's still in the cafe downstairs. Very retro. I love it. Makes me smile. Is it for a guest bath or the master? I always think the smaller ones you don't use as often are a great place to do something fun. I say go for it Linda!

Vix! Love it!! I'll start working on that now!

Cobalt...YES! I had some pix of that hotel. It is in a well used bathroom...

Love the paper even more now but I understand the hubby's veto. Just tell him to use another facility. I'm sure that would go over well. Have a great day.

I do love this - it's such a classic - and yes, very old Beverly Hills.
Used it several times in the 80's in So Cal.....once, for a client who didn't want the whole room papered, we cuts some of the palms and applied them just in one corner.

I like it too! Adds plenty pizzazz and is soooooo tropical. Accessorizing would be just plain fun.

Aren't computers amazing? I just saw a post yesterday (maybe on Purple Area?) with some big, bold wallpaper along these lines. My husband would faint if I did something like that, but I did sort of dig 'em!

Oh that is so funny! I can see where his fears may be warranted. It feels like you are in the middle of a tropical jungle.

What an amazing thing to be able to do. Kind of takes the guess work out of it:)

Yep, it's a jungle in there!

Maybe for one wall?

Yessss... that does look like the Beverly Hills Hotel walls! I haven't been there is years... but I can't imagine them getting rid of it... might be time to head over there for cocktails in the lounge and a glimpse into the cafe to see if it still exists!

I actually think you should do it!! Come on, take a chance, I'm SURE you'll end up loving it! And I agree with vix, everything else grounds the room.

eek with the monkeys! That was nice to get a little bit of a visual. I could see it being a little dizzying and almost seeing a monkey! :)

That's hilarious. I laughed out loud at the "monkey therapy."

I think it looks very cool and if anyone could pull it off, you could!
