Looking at these, I'm thinking "she's so exotic".... then comes the last photo & I think "she's got a very tender side".

Better a bit than nothing, but you know we're up for a heaping handful!

You do "collected" so, so well.

Makes me feel I am way too sparse, and that's a neat trick given my possession-a-phobia...but overall you permit so much breathing room I don't just want to admire, I want to move in. Let me know when there's a vacancy....

ps Big Butt Chair looks like s/he has been there forever. [That's the point, I know!]

Every home should have a copy of I Married Adventure, and a guitar to prove it!

Thanks for the peek inside your home. It's lovely. There are many elements that would fit right in my home...like the pineapple painting!!! I love the old(?) Florida landscape. It reminds me of a Highwayman painting. Is it?

Linda, I love when you open your house to us! Your home is so lovely, personal, warm and inviting.

Now I need to put up some random pictures on the outside of my book cabinet!

Y'all are so NICE!I just love ya to pieces! Although I laugh when I hear the term lived in. I always think it is the polite way for saying..."What a frickin' mess!!"

:)....guilty as charged!

Yvonne...No I did not paint the painting above ole big butt! That would be painted by local (and quite celebrated) artist Ginny Piech Street!

Jane..the other painting (what you thought was a florida landscape) is actually from a Hudson River painter George Inness. It was one of his last (when his sight was quite bad) that is why it is so blurry and foggy for a Hudson River Painting. One of my faves...bought it while I was in college.

Oh Linda, thank you for linking these up to Vignette Fridays. I'm sorry I'm just now getting around to see them ... but now I'm salivating and I'm sorry I don't have a napkin! LOL! Everytime I come here I see one more thing that I HAVE to have! Pillows, chairs ... you name it! Thanks again, and I hope you link up again next week! :)

coconut LOVE. I think i could sit and contemplate lovely things at your casa for days {while you bring me a martini, hostess} and then go outside and absorb myself with the tropical atmosphere (while you bring me fancy drink with the umbrella in it}.

OR we could skip the drink..and just go shopping. :) you find the bestest stuff.
