Dayum you…Mercury.

So I was all set to post pretties and changes at the ole’ casa

After cleaning the contacts on my malfunctioning camera....and

Screeeeeeeech.

Computer upgrades itself, and I lose everything That I know.

Tears ensue.

They Don’t work.

Lost all photos, all faves and the ability to post photos.

Cry with me.

So…they say… Mercury is in retrograde until August 26th.

Get it together Mercury, Ya giant creep.

retrograde-graphic-450x321

I’m pissed…

At 03:50 UT (Universal Time) Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011, Mercury the wise communicator—and universal trickster—turns retrograde at 1°12' Virgo in the sign of the Virgin, sending communications, travel, appointments, mail and the www into a general snarlup! The retro period begins some days before the actual turning point (as Mercury slows) and lasts for three weeks or so, until August 26, 2011, when the Winged Messenger reaches his direct station. At this time he halts and begins his return to direct motion through the zodiac

sigh.

Yikes! I am so sorry to hear your bad news. Mercury is a rat bastard (excuse my language)! I think you should get a Mac next time around. They are super stable. I will have a moment of silence for you now........ and hope that tomorrow will be a better day :)

Oh no I am so sorry. I will share in the moment of silence, then I will spit out a few bad words and open a bottle of wine. I am not a fan of upgrades either I did that with my yahoo account and well I won't bore you... but there were a few bad words involved. Could the photos be hidden somehow? Maybe you can take the computer to someone to see if they can retrieve. BIG hugs... xo

Oh no no no. Get that puppy to the Tech Doc asap!

People who know what they are doing truly can bring things back from the dead. [Much to the horror of corrupt politicians, business folks, and garden-variety marital "wanderers."]

Fingers crossed for you....

Dang I hate when that happens!! So sorry you lost your shots. Maybe if you go have a 'shot' of something, it may sooth your soul. NOT that I am promoting drinking, just thinking of you! lol
Been there done that kind of thing.
'hugs from afar'

I've been blaming my tech misfortune of Mercury in retrograde also! But, anytime anything goes wrong I laid the blame there, whether its in retrograde or not! Sorry to hear of your problems, but did you see my post? Got you beat this time!

I feel your pain. My regular computer was on the verge of exploding. It's an HP, and I've hated it since the day I bought it. Nothing but problems. While it's at the doctor being looked at, I'm back to my trusy old Dell, which has been plugging along solidly for 7 years! I'm secretly hoping that the HP will be really expensive to fix so that I can justify getting another Dell, or maybe even a Mac!

I too feel your pain and agree with Al's "mercury is a rat bastard" comment. (to which I burst out laughing!) I had a parking lot fender bender, delayed flight among a couple of other travel mishaps. Rat bastard indeed. I read somewhere it was through today!! Hope my Plane shows up!
