Spring has sprung…

And the horrible little secret is…

My paper whites from Christmas are still doing their thing.

I mean, really. They aren’t dead….not completely growing either. Just at that place I love them.

weird.

In other news….I found me a HUGE dough bowl

so huge that son # 3 walked in and asked what a baby’s cradle was doing on the table. sigh.

I guess those paperwhites are enjoying a long slumber. I agree, that is weird. Love that vintage dough board. Such a cool find. Have a great weekend. -Al

OMG I want that dough bowl!!! LOVE stuff like that. I have a few smaller size bowls from Afg and they are among my most favorite possessions. :D

The paperwhites are beautiful. I had some saffron bulbs from my MIL and they started growing out of the bag. Never did get around to planting them. I think they've croaked by now. :(

You mean those paperwhites have looked like that for over two months?

Yes Steve....and I didn't even give them any booze!

Already had to return the bowl/cradle.... :(

My paperwhites are still in a bowl on my counter waiting to be planted. Maybe tomorrow? :) Love the dough bowl...why did you take it back?

It WAS lovely. But about 3 or more feet long and more than a foot high. Just TOO big, could not find a good spot for it...seriously three babies could fit in it. I was sad to part with it, but reality. Ya know.

I did find a bit of fun fabric I will show you later today maybe.

Beautiful images - right out of a magazine. Aren't sons cute?!

Your paper whites are still there because you are loving and nurturing, Linda (unlike me who can kill a cactus within a week).

Baby cradle! (: We had soup the other evening and my 4-year old asked what that green stuff was, floating in his soup. "They are called, herbs, William". "I love "Nerbs", Mama"!

Kids are so much fun!

Hugs to you. Hope all is well.

What....I have never heard of them lasting this long....crazy! I have a huge bowl and could not figure out what put in it. Finally gathered enough fishing floats ( some old, some repo) and it looks pretty good.
