A little bit of Christmas…

Very little this year

It is one of those years where my Christmas Mojo…or Christmas decorating Mojo has gone south.

While I know it has been cold and stormy in the rest of the country

Here it has been hot . sultry even.

You definitely dressed up the house for Christmas!
Simple is good. Not-freezing is good, too.

I love "Jesus on the half shell."
You are spreading the joy.
Thanks for sharing your festive trimmings.

Not freezing can. indeed, be good. But just a dusting would be oh so fun. For me....not the tropical flora and fauna...
Thanks Rick! Merry Merry to ya!

Linda, when you took the nations temperature we were good and cold, for SoCal. Made some soup, tea and hot chocolate... but now back to too warm, challenging Christmas decor to create a faux winter.

I do like your gilded coconuts! And competition trophies (?) holding narcissus bulbs = fabulous.

Cheers!

yes sultry, and I'm not happy about it either...in December! over 90% humidity and 85 degrees? But your house looks cheerful, I love the wreath on the door! nice job!

Hey, Baby Jesus on the Half Shell Girl, your place looks pretty festive to me. I ain't got nothin'. No tree, no lights, no wreath. I really need to get me some ho, ho, ho. It's almost Joy time.

it looks very festive to me. I love that baby Jesus is on the half shell and that your nativity is white! Enjoy your warm weather!

Did you say keeping it simple? Love all your joyous decorations for the season.
Your red mandevilla also looks very healthy outside that beautiful red door.
Merry Merry to you and yours too.

Looks great Linda. I love all the fun color in the room with the orange Chesterfield. Hot & humid - I'll take it any day over ice and snow!
Cheers!

opulent simplicity!
beautiful.
and your humor and touches throughout. i knew i wouldn't be disappointed.
and as to the roof . . .
surely anything that is proven good for the environment and can withstand a hurricane . . .
is a good thing!
had to throw a little martha into the mix. sorry.
